STP Guy supports TeamLGT’s Fight the Bite campaign
TeamLGT recently welcomed STP Guy, the viral food creator known for his highly rated reviews of British sticky toffee puddings, to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Following his recent travels, STP Guy joined TeamLGT to support the Fight the Bite campaign and raise awareness of the importance of travel health advice and malaria prevention.
During his visit, STP Guy judged a staff bake-off, celebrating the creativity of our colleagues, and met with Dr Anand Odedra, Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology, to discuss the campaign and the importance of early diagnosis.
STP Guy said: “It was fantastic to visit Queen Elizabeth Hospital, meet the team and see the creativity that went into the bake-off. I’m pleased to support the Fight the Bite campaign and help raise awareness of the importance of travel health advice.”
The Fight the Bite campaign provides resources to help colleagues, patients and communities understand how to reduce the risk of malaria and access the right advice before travelling.
