About the service
All adults and children in Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark who have feeding tubes are looked after by the Home Enteral Nutrition (HEN) Team.
Our team is made up of dietitians, nutrition nurse specialists, Speech and Language Therapists, dietitian support workers and administrators.
We provide services in the community and can arrange visits according to individual patient needs.
Who we can help
Anyone with and enteral feeding tube who lives in Lambeth, Lewisham or Southwark who is a registered with a GP in one of those boroughs.
Services available
We provide specialist information, support and training to help manage your tube, tube feeding and safe eating and drinking. The administrators are a key part of the team and will help put you in touch with the right person when you call into the office.
The team will work with those who looked after you in hospital to ensure your smooth transfer to home and contact you shortly after your discharge to arrange a visit from the team.
