Gonorrhoea vaccine
Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted infection. Research shows that the Meningitis B vaccine can reduce your risk of getting gonorrhoea by up to 40%.
Since August 2025 the vaccine has been made available to people who may be at higher risk of getting gonorrhoea including gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (GBMSM) who are at the highest risk of gonorrhoea. People of other genders and sexualities may be eligible if they are considered at high risk.
